Been to any good tournaments lately?
This month, I went to my first professional gaming tournament in Brooklyn called Zenith 2014, and met the #1 Super Smash Bros Melee player, Mew2King (see just how pro he is through his important Smash discoveries). Special shout out to all the CMU Smash homies out there.

Emily Dicksonson OUTER SPACE! is a three-day, non-stop party/performance featuring 88 performers and a seven foot tall disco cake. Part intergalactic jam session and part haunted house party, Emily Dickinson OUTER SPACE! pairs Dickinson's poetry with every genre of space music (space rock, jazz, folk, disco, etc.) imaginable. Featuring a space igloo, communal beds, projections, dancing, a bar, and so much more, this is a party in search of what it means to be American, wild, and free. Adapted from the poems and letters of Emily Dickinson, directed by Michelle Sutherland, and featuring original music by the ensemble.

This is a 3-day continuous performance at The Bushwick Starr, starting at 8pm on Thursday, 9/4 and concluding at 10pm on Saturday, 9/6. $15 one-time entry/$30 unlimited entry + closing party. Buy tickets at thebushwickstarr.org, and get awesome Kickstarter rewards here.

Pageant Tales And Beauty Fails

MUN at Catskill Chill

MUN played an acoustic set at Catskill Chill last year after earning votes by the public! Management loved the response and offered MUN an acoustic and electric set at Chill this year.

MUN will open up the festival as the first musical performance
- First set is acoustic at the acoustic junction stage - 1PM
- Second set is electric at the Club Chill stage - 5PM
